Who we are
Twimello’s business name will be added here before the book launches.
Trying the sample
The sample asks for a child’s first name and how they look, so it can draw them. Those choices stay in your browser’s local storage on this device, so the sample remembers them next time. They aren’t sent to us or stored on our servers. Clearing your browser’s site data removes them.
Launch updates
If you sign up, we store your email address, your country if you choose one, the book you signed up for, when you signed up, the consent wording you agreed to, which page the form was on, and the utm_source tag of the link you arrived from, if it had one. We also record whether our confirmation email was accepted for sending, and when you unsubscribe.
We use this only to email you about that book’s launch. We don’t sell it or share it for marketing. Sign-ups are for adults only.
Every email has an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing works straight away without signing in. We keep your record marked as unsubscribed so we don’t email you again. Nothing is deleted automatically yet, so contact us if you want your record deleted.
Services we use
The website is hosted on Vercel, whose servers keep standard request logs, including IP addresses. To slow down automated sign-ups, our server also briefly keeps your IP address in memory, and never stores it with your sign-up.
Sign-ups are stored in a Postgres database. Its hosting provider will be named here before the book launches.
Our emails, including the sign-up confirmation, are sent through Resend, which receives your email address to deliver them.
We use Vercel Web Analytics to count page visits and three steps: starting the sample, reaching the end of the sample, and signing up for launch updates. Those steps carry only the book and, if your link had one, its utm_source tag. For each visit Vercel records the page address (we remove everything but utm tags from it first), the referring site, approximate location, browser, operating system and device type. It sets no cookies and recognises a visit by a hash of the request that is discarded after 24 hours. It never receives your email address, your child’s name or how they look.
We don’t use advertising tools or tracking cookies.
